MedBiquitous Project Supports FDA REMS Initiative

MedBiquitous is releasing the attached press release about a new standards project, Medical Education Metrics 2.0. The standard will support the collection of Continuing Education data around the FDA's Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) for Extended Release/Long Acting opioid medications. CE providers will send data to their accreditors about REMS-related CE. Accreditors can then send data to a central database in a common format, allowing the FDA and REMS Program Companies to get a sense of the broad picture of REMS CE across multiple professions.
