    The purpose of this CGA is to identify and understand barriers related to persistence and adherence with OAB treatment plans (may include behavioral, pharmacologic, and/or other interventions) and achievement of optimal outcomes, from the perspective of patients with OAB. Additionally, the gap analysis should determine how the knowledge, motivation, and attitudes shape intentional or unintentional compliance and adherence to OAB therapies.

    The purpose of this CGA is to help close independently identified healthcare professional performance gaps associated with patient adherence and persistence to OAB treatment plans through accredited and independent education for healthcare professionals. Education should provide effective strategies for developing patient-focused OAB treatment plans based on a thorough understanding of current and emerging treatment options. In addition, education should facilitate successful HCP-patient collaboration to increase patient understanding of treatment plan rationale and limitations, establish appropriate and achievable goals of therapy, and enable periodic ongoing assessment of progress towards treatment goals.

    You are invited to submit a grant proposal to address the educational need outlined in the attached document.

    Please review and return your completed proposal via the sanofi-aventis Grant Website at www.sagrants.com no later than 5PM EST on March 16, 2012.  If a submission is not completed by this date, your proposal will not be accepted.

    "Please note that an applicant may be ineligible to receive a grant in response to this RFP if the applicant has performed any services under contract with sanofi-aventis during the last 12 months in connection with:

    • a consultant meeting; or 
    • an advisory board meeting

    in the same therapeutic area as this request for proposal ("RFP"). 

    If the applicant has performed such services please forward a copy of the contract immediately, prior to responding to the RFP, so that we can determine your eligibility. If not, please acknowledge this in your application in writing."

    Please note that you must select the type of activity that you are proposing, i.e. Live, Enduring or Live and Enduring.
