Tuesday, April 12, 2022 3:00PM - 5:00PM CT Workshop Registration is FREE and limited to ONLY Part I attendees held on February 9, 2022
This workshop continuation will review the past, present, and future of CPD within the continuum of health professions education and discuss ways to increase the relevance of CME/CPD within participants’ unique institutions. Interactive exercises will explore attendee insights into (1) where their role and standing of CME/CPD is within their organization, (2) what can be learned from this, (3) who, what, and where are potential avenues for growth and partnership, (4) what are potential barriers, and (5) how can the information surfaced during the activity be used to generate a plan for moving forward. The goal is to help learners generate strategies and approaches. Participants will learn from each other’s experiences, offer suggestions about how to begin a process of implementing change, increase their self-efficacy, and offer an ongoing community of support for each other. The workshop will include discussion of methods that each attendee might utilize to gauge their progress in reaching their self-identified goals.
The target audience for this workshop is clinician-educators, CPD leaders, CPD administrators, and medical educators.
