50th Anniversary Celebration!
On March 23, 2026, 5:15 PM - 7:00 PM, join us for a party to honor SACME’s Golden Anniversary—a half century of remarkable achievements, cherished friendships, and our members’ unwavering dedication and support.
Enjoy a slice of SACME’s 50th birthday cake and an expert-led bourbon tasting while celebrating our community’s past, present, and bright future ahead of us! We even hope to include our virtual meeting attendees in the party!
Networking Event
If you’re attending in-person, join us at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026 in the hotel lobby to walk together to LEXLive (just five minutes away!). From Sunday through the end of the meeting on March 25, 2026, LEXLive will offer discounted menu pricing just for SACME attendees.
Make sure to pre-register for our Special Event so we’ll know to expect you, and bring your name badge to get the discount! If you’re already registered for SACME 2026 and want to join us at LEXLive, email info@sacme.org.
Service Projects
Throughout the Annual Meeting, we will be making cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids. This organization spreads hope, joy, and a little bit of magic to children in hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country by delivering uplifting, handmade cards created by volunteers - simple messages that can make a big difference in a child’s day. You can help purchase materials needed to make the cards through the SACME Service Project Amazon List.
We will also assemble a few potty training kits for The Nest, a Lexington-based non-profit organization that aims to prevent the abuse and neglect of children and adults by supporting families in crisis through education, counseling, advocacy, and resources. One of the many services offered is supporting families with children ages 0 to 5 by providing essential items needed to thrive during challenging times. Horsin' Around
In the spirit of Lexington’s horse farms and love for horse racing, SACME will take a break for a little horseplay on Monday, March 23, 2026, 12:15 PM - 1:15 PM. We will have a bouncy-horse racing event during this time, and we will also have a photo-finish photo-op for attendees!
Sign up at the registration desk onsite for a chance to challenge your colleagues to a race and compete for the first place medal, or take your turn at horseshoes and lassoing. Expect great fun for both players and spectators alike!
