It’s also easily accessible by air with non-stop flights from Blue Grass Airport (LEX) to 17 destinations and connecting service to hundreds of destinations worldwide. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), only a little over an hour’s drive from Lexington, offers numerous domestic non-stop flights and two international flights, as well—one to Toronto and another to Paris.

International Travelers
Please note that flights may be less expensive coming into Louisville (SDF) or Cincinnati (CVG) than coming into Lexington (LEX). However, travel from those other cities to Louisville may be more expensive or difficult than you would prefer - there are no direct trains or buses from either of those airports to Lexington. You would likely need to hire or rent a car, which may cost $100-$150 USD or more. Louisville is approximately a 1-hour drive from Lexington, and Cincinnati is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Lexington.
