Heather MacNeill, MD, MScCH(HPTE), FRCPC

Heather MacNeill is Assistant Dean, Clinical Faculty Development, for the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine (TMU SoM) and Professor at University of Toronto. She is a practicing PM&R physician and Medical Director of Stroke Rehabilitation at Sinai Health. She has been teaching about, creating, and researching the effect of educational technologies in healthcare for over a decade.

Sofia Valenci, MD, PhD, CPC (HC) 

Sofia Valanci is a strategic advisor helping educators, healthcare professionals, and CPD organizations integrate emerging technologies into teaching, learning, and lifelong professional development. She brings this work into practice as Clinical Director of Strategic Innovations at University of British Columbia CPD. 

Shirley Lee, MD

Shirley Lee is a multi-award-winning educator, practicing family and emergency medicine physician, and Interim Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Passionate about advancing medical education, she has developed innovative learning programs for healthcare professionals and trainees to thrive and adapt in an evolving healthcare system for over two decades.

Vjekoslav Hlede, DVM, PhD

Vjekoslav Hlede is a learning technologist and LMS Manager at the American Society of Anesthesiologists. With a background in veterinary medicine, he works at the intersection of LMS/LXP platforms, hybrid learning environments, and learning theory. His research examines the complex, sociotechnical nature of CPD to inform the design of learning environments that enable participation across in-person, synchronous online, and asynchronous modes.
