Kurt Snyder, JD, MBA, ALM

Kurt is Executive Director of CME at Stanford University, where he leads initiatives integrating AI, data-driven strategy, and compliance to improve education and organizational performance. Previously, he directed CME at Indiana University, the largest medical school in the nation. His background spans law, technology, and higher education, and his work has earned national recognition. Outside work, he stewards a Little Free Library and enjoys time with his cats, Chip and Dale.

Mary Sisney, CMP

Mary is the Assistant Director of Marketing & Learner Engagement at Stanford Continuing Medical Education, where she oversees marketing and live event strategy for educational programs serving healthcare professionals. With more than a decade of experience in marketing and event planning, she brings expertise in strategic communications, audience engagement, and creating impactful learning experiences.

She is passionate about connecting learners with high-quality education and developing thoughtful strategies that extend engagement beyond the event itself.

Stephanie Sliekers, MEd

Stephanie Sliekers is the Director of Simulation & Digital Education at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She leads North America’s first mental health Simulation Centre, which was awarded accreditation by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2021. She also leads the digital education design team who power the CAMH Global Learning Academy, a platform that offers a world-class learning experience to health care professionals, community-based providers, educators, advocates, and the public. Stephanie has a Master of Education degree, where her research focused on strategies for assessment in continuing health professional education.

Shaune LaMarca

Shaune LaMarca brings two decades of experience in marketing content and strategy for nonprofit individual membership and trade associations, with expertise in copywriting, digital media, and graphic design. In her current role as Membership, Marketing, and Social Media Director at Custom Management Group, an association management company (AMC), she is responsible for SACME’s social media channels and regularly contributes to the Society’s event, publication, and membership content.

Sanjeev Sockalingam, MD, MHPE, FRCPC

Sanjeev is Senior Vice President Education and Chief Medical Officer, and Senior Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He is Professor and Vice-Chair, Education in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sockalingam is also the Co-Chair of the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) Ontario Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental and Health and the University of Toronto, which is a Ministry of Health funded hub and-spoke virtual knowledge-sharing network model building mental health and addiction capacity in Ontario. He is also the Scientific Director of Obesity Canada.
