Overview

This session will provide practical guidance on the key steps involved in planning and conducting a Delphi study. It will include selecting an expert panel, completing the necessary preparatory work before launching the first round, conducting and managing Delphi rounds, and analyzing results to support research outcomes.

    Dr. Giuseppe Aleo, MA, PhD
    Senior Post-doctoral Fellow, Centre of Excellence for Research in Continuing Professional Development (UPGRADE). Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University of Medicine & Health Science, Dublin, Ireland.

    Dr. Giuseppe Aleo conducts research activities at the RCSI European Centre of Excellence for Research in Continuing Professional Development since 2020. He has a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages, has taught Scientific English for over 20 years to nursing students in Italy, and worked for 16 years as a Continuing Professional Development officer at a Dermatological Hospital and Research Institute in Rome, Italy. His PhD in Public Health focused on behaviors, risks, and knowledge about cutaneous melanoma in the general population. Speaker at many international conferences and co-author of 160 scientific publications. Honorary Member of Sigma Theta Tau International since 2021.
